Sudden Impact: No. 13 Michigan Shocks No. 7 San Diego State 9-8 OT

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- It took extra time, but the No. 13-ranked University of Michigan water polo team pulled off an upset victory over No. 7-ranked San Diego State University, 9-8, in the opening game of the Aztec Mini on Friday, April 10 at SDSU's Aztec Aquaplex.

Freshman Meagan Cobb (Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) scored in sudden-victory overtime to deliver the triumph. Freshman Morgan Turner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Trabuco Hills) made 11 saves after taking over in the cage to start the second half.

Sophomore Keller Felt (La Jolla, Calif./La Jolla) swiped a career-high five steals and scored once, while junior Leah Robertson (Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) tallied three assists, including one on the game-winning goal.
