weekend as he netted 16 goals and 11 assists with nine steals.

9-26-06 Hart Williams, Ohio University
Williams scored 17 goals with eight assists and drew eight ejections
in leading the Ohio University Bobcats to a 3-1 record at the Great
Lakes Regional at the University of Dayton.

Division Player of the Week
9-26-06 Elad Rachevsky, Macalester College
Rachevsky led the Scots to a 5-0 record in the opening round of play
in the division as he poured in 22 goals, assisted on 17 other scores,
collected nine steals, blocked two shots and drew 11 ejections.
10-2-06 Tyson Morgan, Macalester College
Morgan tallied five goals, an assist, two steals and a pair of ejections
drawn in three games to lead the Scots to a 2-1 record as Macalester
defeated Saint Mary's University (13-11 W) and Saint John's University
(14-10 W), but fell to Grinnell College (12-5 L).
10-23-06 Murat Ilgen, Macalester College
Ilgen led Macalester to the Heartland Division title by recording a
3.5 goals against average with 36 saves, including two five-meter penalty
shots, four assists and four steals while starring in goal.

Atlantic Division Player of the Week
9-20-06 Sean McEleney, Villanova University
McEleney was instrumental in aiding Villanova gain a season opening
victory over the University of Delaware as he led the Wildcats with
three goals and an assist. He was also a force on the defensive end
of the pool, collecting a career high five steals.
9-26-06 Tom Hallett, Villanova University
Hallett was the heart and soul of the Villanova Wildcats as he recorded
a 65% save percentage to earn accolades as the Mid Atlantic Player of
the Week. Against the United States Military Academy, he made 16 saves,
dished out an assist and collected a steal in a win. He finished his
weekend by making ten saves, including a penalty shot block, and grabbed
four steals in a loss to varsity opponent Penn State-Behrend.
10-2-06 Rob Mida, Villanova University
Mida dominated for the Wildcats as Villanova finished undefeated on
the week with victories over #14 Williams College (11-7 W), #7 Yale
University (16-8 W), Merchant Marine Academy (15-14 W) and Wesleyan
University (16-7 W) at the Villanova Invitational, and Millersville
University (6-5 W) in CWPA Mid Atlantic action. Against Merchant Marine
at the Villanova Invitational, he scored six goals, handed out two assists
and grabbed a steal in the first half of the game. Versus Yale, he netted
six goals, two steals and a blocked shot before tacking on five goals
and an assist against Williams. For the Villanova Invitational, he finished
with 24 goals on 31 shots for a 77% shooting percentage.

England Division Player of the Week
9-26-06 Dave Gerstle, Yale University
He recorded 10 goals as Yale went undefeated. His most important game
came against Williams College as he scored twice early to put the Bulldogs
ahead. In the fourth quarter, with Yale trailing, Gerstle made a steal
and dished out an assist to help send the game into overtime. In the
extra frame, he scored two more goals to give Yale a 9-8 victory.

10-2-06 John Barnett, New York University
Barnett earned New York Player of the Week after helping NYU to a 4-0
record by scoring 12 goals and three assists with six steals and three
ejections drawn.

10-9-06 Daniel Harris, California Polytechnic State University
Harris earned Pacific Coast Player of the Week honors for scoring 16
goals in four games to lead the Mustangs to a 4-0 start in CWPA competition.
Against UCLA, he netted six goals, blocked a shot and drew three ejections
in a 10-3 win before recording three goals, an assist and two steals
in a 6-5 victory versus the University of California-San Diego. He concluded
his weekend by scoring six goals in a 9-7 win over Fresno State University
and a goal with a steal in a 12-2 win over California State University-Fullerton.
10-23-06 Steve LaFrenze, California State University Maritime
Academy
LaFrenze averaged 15 saves per game while leading CSU-Maritime to wins
over Fresno State University (12-11 W) and California State University-Fullerton
(11-8 W).

Division Player of the Week
9-26-06 Jon D'Andrea, University of Texas
D'Andrea made 28 saves, including a pair of penalty shot blocks, and
grabbed eight steals in three games.
10-9-06 Brandon Lawver, Texas A&M University
Lawver led the Aggies to a 3-1 record at the Texas Regional Tournament
hosted by the University of Houston on October 6-8. At the tournament,
he posted 10 goals with six assists while drawing two ejections. He
also recorded seven steals as Texas A&M defeated the University
of Houston (12-9 W), Trinity Univeristy (5-0 W) and Rice University
(7-2) and fell to the University of Texas (6-4 L).

Sarah Mawhorter, Carleton College
Mawhorter
led the Carleton squad to an undefeated record this past tournament,
splitting time as goalie and two-meter defender. Her excellent play
proved to be one of the keys to giving the Knights the top seed heading
into the championship.

Atlantic Division Player of the Week
4-6-06 Rebekah Stevens,
University of Pennsylvania
Rebekah Stevens, Penn's 2nd
year two-meter defender, played every minute of their three games this
weekend. DUring this time she held opposing teams' centers to a combined
two shots on goal for zero scores. In all three games at two-meters,
she was never ejected and lead the defense with a team high 15 steals.
She also contributed in the offensive cause for the weekend
with three assists and a goal.
3-30-06 Carolyn Corona,
University of Pennsylvania
Goalie Carolyn Corona came
out strong in Penn's first tournament of the year. She allowed a total
of nine goals over the four-game weekend contest, and posted 15 saves
in a 11-6 win over the University of Pittsburgh. She also recorded her
first shut out of the year in the early game on Saturday. On the weekend
she finished with 33 saves, nine goals against and added four assists.
Last years Mid Atlantic First Team All-conference goalie put Penn in
the lead of the division going into next week's crossover tournament
at Penn State.
3-2-06 Susan Oliver,
University of Richmond
Oliver started the weekend
by tallying two goals and four steals in the Spiders' 12-6 win over
Georgetown. She continued her strong 2m and 2m-d play against the University
of Virginia and scored a goal with three steals. She capped off the
weeked with four goals against James Madison University, including three
in the fourth quarter and two steals.

3-16-06 Gabe Schaefer,
University of California, Los Angeles
A third-year student out
of Fullerton, CA (Fullerton HS), Schaefer had a stellar weekend, recording
15 steals as the team's primary two-meter defender. What made Schaeffer's
performance so remarkable was the fact that she shut out her opponents
while only getting ejected one time in three contests. In addition to
her defensive efforts, she tallied two assists in three games.

Lyndsey Vaughan, University of Central Florida
Lyndsey Vaughan,
a junior at UCF, had a great tournament this weekend, playing for the
Southeast Division Championship. As two-meter defender thoughout all
three games, she had a total of 16 steals, while never once being ejected.
She also had a total of eight goals and one assist. Her greatest achievement
of the weekend was scoring the goal to tie the game against Emory in
the last second of the game and then again in the last second of overtime
to give her team the win.

Division Player of the Week
4-13-06
Jennnifer Morton, Rice University
Junior goalkeeper Jennifer Morton had an amazing weekend and quickly
set the tone for the young Owls squad. Morton had 24 blocks including
a penalty shot to help Rice remain undefeated. She allowed only six
goals during four games on her way to earning a shut-out, as well as
two other games with only one goal allowed. Her stellar play gives Rice
the top seed heading into the championship.
