Dave allowed only seven shots on goal from the two-meters and had over 20 steals on the weekend. His solid defensive play kept hole shots down to a minimum and cut down on the Volunteer goalie's usually busy workload. He was only credited with one goal and two steals this weekend, but his presence and direction in the field increased both the defensive and offensive production of all those around him. His effectiveness as a player on his team cannot be accurately measured by the stats at the end of the game, but rather by the score. Tennessee finished 2-2 this weekend, never giving up more than eight goals to teams with overwhelming offensive firepower.
