SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Michigan State advanced to the quarterfinals with a convincing 9-3 victory over Texas A&M. Six different players tallied goals for the Spartans, who never trailed in the contest. Greg Woodard tallied 11 saves for the Aggies in a losing effort.

Michigan State plays Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals while Texas A&M meets Washington University in the consolation bracket.
