SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - University of Massachusetts advanced to the semifinals of the National Collegiate Club Championship with an impressive offensive performance against University of Pennsylvania that resulted in a 14-6 victory. UMass built a 5-0 lead after the first quarter, increased it to 11-1 at halftime and cruised to victory.

Antonio Maldonado led the Minutemen in scoring with four goals while Justin Houck and Conor Boughey chipped in three apiece. Nick Kittredge scored three for Penn in the losing effort. UMass will face USC in the semifinals while Penn matches up against University of Washington.
