All Tournament Ballot-Eastern Championships

The ballot will select the top fourteen players (including two goalies) at the Eastern Championships.
You are only voting for those individuals in the actual tournament. Note: although two teams are

announced, only top seven receive awards.

Instructions for Tallying the Ballots

1. Distribute all of the ballots to the participating teams on Friday or at the earliest possible moment
during the competition.
2. Ask each coach to rank their own athletes and turn in their rankings by Saturday morning in the first
round.
3. Collect all of the rankings and summarize the rankings on one sheet. Give each of the coaches the
ranking sheet.
4. Collect all of the ballots prior to the completion of the final game from every team.
5. If two or more athletes are tied in the voting, the athlete playing on the best team (as determined by
the final placing) is selected. If two athletes compete on the same team, the one with the most first place
votes is selected. If first place votes are equal, the coach's original ranking is used.

Directions for Ballot Completion

2. Rank two goalies (may be from your own team, points 2-1).

3. Rank the top six players on your own team (points awarded 6-1).

4. Select an MVP.

Men's Varsity All-American Ballot

nomination list. In addition, Division I teams may vote for Division II and III athletes
if desired. For example, athletes from UCSD maybe named to the Division I team.

The following all-American teams will be selected:

For Division I voting, players receive three points for a First Team nomination, two
points for a Second Team nomination, and one point for a Third Team nomination.
A player may receive Honorable Mention if he receives votes from two schools,
excluding his own. Division II and III voting will correspond to the number of teams
selected.

Votes will be tabulated and certificates issued by December 19th. Press releases
will be sent to every varsity program's SID, NCAA News, Swimming World, and
Water Polo Scoreboard.

The nomination form included reflects the spelling we will use in the press release.
Indicate any corrections necessary when you submit your ballot. If you have any
