University of Arizona Seeks Head Men's Water Polo Club Coach (April 23, 2012)

The University of Arizona Men's Water Polo team is in need of a head coach. Requirements of all applicants should include:

• Have prior coaching and playing experience at a collegiate/college level
• Have a strong connection and open line of communication with the players and captains
• Understand the priorities of a club program
• Be available for all team events
• Have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Be able to understand the game of water polo at an advanced level
• Act as an authority figure to gain the respect/trust of the members of this team
• Being capable of pushing and teaching the team to their highly competitive expectations

The Men’s Water Polo season starts at the beginning of August and runs to the end of November. There a multitude of coaching responsibilities that require attending numerous practices per week and being able to travel with the team to tournaments. Other responsibilities will be discussed via phone or email. 

Salary will be discussed upon contact. The coaching staff will receive a well deserved salary for the four month job position.
